Rider Agreement & Eligibility

This Rider Terms & Dispatch Agreement ("Rider Terms") governs all student dispatch riders providing fulfillment services on the Umarn WhatsApp Platform.

Riders operate as independent gig contractors. To ride for Umarn, you must be registered at the active campus, complete rider onboarding via WhatsApp, and pass mandatory identity verification.

Rider Compensation & Weekly Payouts

Riders earn per completed delivery. Delivery fees are locked at checkout based on campus zone routes and distance.

Rider Payout & Risk Probation Rules

Weekly Payout Ledger: Rider earnings accumulate automatically and are transferred directly to your bank account via Paystack every week.
Probation Order Value Cap: New riders (<10 completed deliveries) are assigned orders valued up to ₦15,000 max to protect campus financial risk.
High-Value Unlock: Completing 10+ successful deliveries with high customer ratings unlocks priority broadcast access for high-value orders (>₦15,000).
Free Delivery Jobs: For platform-subsidized buyer promo deliveries, the rider payout is guaranteed by Umarn — riders always receive 100% of their earned fee.

Delivery Conduct & Campus Boundaries

Riders agree to adhere to strict professional standards:

Operate exclusively within assigned campus boundaries.
Inspect pickup items at vendor stores prior to starting transit. Report damaged items immediately.
Maintain safe transit speed and treat buyers with professional courtesy.
Execute the WhatsApp proof-of-delivery handshake accurately upon reaching the buyer location.
